Slots, the oldest casino games are still the favorite game of any new casino player. Just as the game, its history is equally interesting. The game and its machine was the idea of Pitt and Sittman and they designed a machine that would entertain the players for a while. But the payouts were not in terms of money and instead the players would get in the form of free drinks. Though for few years, slots were played but it did not become a huge hit.
Then came Charles Fey who invented the Liberty Bell, the first slot machine paying out 50 cents to the winners and still the game remained infamous. The turning point to Slots was when the machine was put in the Flamington Hill Hotel.
From then on, there is no looking back for the game. It was a huge success and the attention to the slot machine is seemingly increasing till then. Then he renovated and designed the Operator Bell Slot machine.
The famous fruit symbols of the slots started only from this machine and even today a machine without a fruit symbol seems to be somewhat incomplete. As the years went by the negative popularity for the anti slot sentiment led to the popularity of the slot machines. Thus the history of the slots saw many events, twist and turns and finally successes and now reached the new form of online slots.
